History

EMOD Motoren GmbH was founded in 1953 by Herbert Odenwald in Bad Salzschlirf as a one-man business and is now run by the second generation of the family. Today, motors of sizes 35 to 112 as well as pot, servo and flat motors are manufactured on a production area of 11,000 m².

The second location in Fulda, which has been considerably expanded in recent years, has existed since 1980 and has a production area of 23,000 m².
Today, EMOD is one of the world's leading manufacturers of electric motors.
EMOD currently employs around 450 people.
